Tucker Needs You: Please Donate to Save This Gentle Giant

Tucker, A Pathway to Hope’s 105-pound gentle giant, was recently rushed to the hospital at serious risk of bloat, a life-threatening condition. His stomach is distended with fluid, and he has been vomiting non-stop. Due to his size and deep chest, his stomach is at high risk of twisting, which could be fatal without emergency surgery.

Right now, the best place for Tucker to be is at the hospital, where he is being constantly observed and will undergo a procedure to place an NG tube to drain some of the fluid in his stomach.

A Pathway to Hope urgently needs your help to cover his medical costs. The procedure, x-rays, ultrasound, bloodwork, and hospitalization are estimated to cost between $4,000 and $5,000.

Tucker has been through so much in the past few months. After the tragic loss of his owner, he was taken by animal control. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor reached out to our rescue, and a wonderful foster stepped in to give him a safe and loving home. But only a few days ago, after eating a loaf of banana bread, Tucker fell seriously ill.
