Tucker is a 4-year-old Havanese in Springfield , MA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Tucker was going to be put down by its owner. Same day that happened we were planning on getting a dog to make it a therapy pet for my then suicidal daughter. We then took him home and he’s been with us for almost 2 years. He was 2 years in a half so we decided to keep his name. Since tucker has been with us thanks to him we have seen a change in my daughter.

Tucker loves to sleep with me his mom (owner) he loves to be outside all the time, he communicates very well with me and the kids and my fiancé. He loves salmon treats very much. He also likes to sit under the sun as he loves the warmth. He loves to go on car rides and look out the windows the whole ride and he also loves to chase the mailman.

Tucker likes his fur buddies but not to close to him as he likes to be alone or with us his family, he is scared of fireworks and thunder he immediately goes under the bed when he hears loud noises. He loves the snow he runs all over it when it snows. I love how tucker protects us and how much we have bonded with him in almost 2 years.

Tucker needs an emergency surgery for his leg they said either surgery or amputation is necessary because he has a laceration that can cause infection and it can worsen. I want to save his life again but I don’t have the money they’re asking for to give him the proper medical care. He’s currently admitted to peiper veterinary hospital in Middletown ct we currently reside in Springfield ma.

It will mean the world to save our dog tucker he’s not just a pet he’s part of our family. The kids love him and are very devastated and afraid to lose tucker we don’t want to put him down. I currently have 5 kids I rent and am disabled.
