About this campaign

Tucker is a Very Special pet. I rescued him from an abusive co owner (used a shock collar for several month's which lead to some nerve damage) sixteen month's ago. He was part of a divorce and was in several different homes / environments afterwards. He was trained by original owner as a police dog. He was never socialized, therefore he was not a very friendly, more mean, all in all still a Good dog. Back in April 2019, Tucker ripped / tore his right knee A C L which was immediately Very Painful for him. I felt soo sorry for him due to the stress and pain that he has already dealt with, and dealt with Very Well I must say, and that is why I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Krotscheck at Cornell University Hospital For Animals.Unfortunately, the closest appointment we could get for Tucker was June 17, 2019 where this was all discussed and then a Surgery date was set for September 11, 2019. As far as training Tucker his new Forever Home, it only took eye contact, tone of voice and, once in a while a smack on the snoot to train / discipline him.He also Loves his sister Ivy, Very Much, Very Protective of her! Every Morning he wets her face with his first morning kisses to her!
I had to go to Delaware to get him, twice, but it was well worth it! Within 20 minutes of meeting him, on neutral ground, he was eating a whole box of biscuits out of my hand, guess that was the way to his Heart!
