Four years ago, during the pandemic, our family found Tululu, an injured cat, on the road. Despite already having two dogs and never intending to adopt a cat, his charm won us over. We named him Tululu after a cherished Nicaraguan folk song, reflecting the joy he has brought into our lives.

Tululu recently experienced a dangerous urinary blockage that required urgent care at VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group). The team quickly addressed his elevated potassium and kidney levels, ultimately saving his life. However, this emergency has resulted in significant financial strain for us.

As devoted dog lovers, we never thought a cat could win us over, but Tululu has changed that. He is our first and most adored feline companion, bringing both love and a little sass to our lives. He enjoys playing with his dog siblings and basking in the sun. So, you can imagine our fear when we found him curled up, crying in pain, surrounded by vomit.
