Petunia was chosen by her now owner, Rosemarie, after her previous owner had to unfortunately give her and her sisters up after a divorce. Showing only love, Petunia has been with her new family for about a year and loves every second of it. Fixes up her mattes and giving her wet food, Rosemarie has transformed Petunia from rough around the edges, to all silky smooth (matching her soft character).

On April 25, 2025, Petunia was very sluggish, wouldn't eat, and stayed in her cage. Rosemarie rushed to Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital in Plymouth Meeting, PA, one of the only places that had walk ins available at that time. We found out Tuni had a high white cell count and dental pain that she needs to get treated.

Petunia (Tuni) has been an emotional support animal for Rosemarie and her child, Shae, since they met her. Whenever Tuni's not sleeping or eating, she's always snuggling. She wraps her paws around anyone's arm and latches on until she decides not to. She demands to be loved at all hours and hates to see Rosemarie leave for work. Tuni loves snuggles, sleeping on pillows, or just to be pet by anyone

Due to mental illness and living on low-income, any big expense is impossible to cover alone. Tuni is an integral part of the family and gives Rosemarie a reason to wake up in the morning. Using your help, we can pay off Tuni's vet visit and the future dentist visits.
