Twix is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Hawthorne, NJ, who needs $2,000 for treatment.

This past Labor Day weekend, A Pathway to Hope got an impossible call. A 4-month-old shepherd/husky mix was found and brought to animal control in a critically ill condition.

Blind and terrified in the shelter, surrounded by barking dogs, her chances of rescue were slim as rescues, volunteers, and even hospitals were stretched thin by the holiday. But this rescue doesn’t take holidays—and emergencies can’t wait.

A Pathway to Hope and their sister rescue RBARI partnered to act immediately to save Twix. They rushed this fragile puppy to the emergency vet, where she showed neurological concerns and began to seize. She was then transported to a specialty hospital with a neurology department. She deserves every chance at life—but we can’t do it without you.
