About this campaign
Tyson and his brother Jack came as baby rescues. They were approximately 12-14 days old when I received them. I volunteered to take them until they were 8 weeks old and able to be rescued. The rescuer agreed to place them in a loving home when that time came.
Tyson and Jack both battled Upper Respiratory Infections as young kittens. Tyson's brother was actually hospitalized with pneumonia during one round. Tyson was failure to thrive as we could not get him above 3 pounds and humane euthanasia was discussed by his vet. We noticed he had a head tilt and thought he was having neurological issues, but he actually has multiple polyps in his inner ear.
Tyson is the sweetest cat and seeks out love from everyone. He loves the foster kittens that I bring in and treats them as his own. My oldest son has Autism and Tyson is especially attracted to him and loves to spend time with him. Tyson will reach out to his humans, lightly grab their hands, and bring them to him for rubs. The polyps in his ears have caused his signature head tilt.
I do domestic/wildlife rescue and pay from my own pocket. Rehabber I received the boys from wanted to take them to a no kill shelter. Then she ghosted me when they started getting vet bills. The specialist and surgery will be thousands of dollars. I can not do this alone.
