Tyson is a 11 year old German Shepherd Dog in Norman, OK, who needs $600 for Dental Prophylaxis w/Anesthesia & Possible Dental Extractions.

A friend told me of Tyson in 2012 of a 6 month old German Shepherd that had been rescued by her daughter but she couldn't keep him. I was living on an acre of land and had been wanting another GSD. From day one, Tyson and I have been together and he's 11 years old now, will be 12 in Oct.

I took Tyson to have a Wellness Check last week and the Veterinarian, Dr. Coppedge w/Thunderbird Vet Hosp in Norman, OK, said he has severe tarter/calculus buildup and gingivitis. I did not brush his teeth when I got him, thinking he'd be okay with the tartar sticks and bones. Of course now, I feel horrible for him.

Where we lived at the time, , the backyard was his and I was the only one allowed through the gate. He knew my family members but they were not allowed through the gate. When we moved to the apartment, he's still a Guardian but more social! I call him Romeo because he loves women and very well behaved. Another Veterinarian, Dr. Amy Tyler said he's the best behaved GS she's been around.

I am retired and on a fixed income. We have been through a lot the last 5 years. I've had him for over 10 years, he's my bud, my companion, my heart.
