About this campaign
Tyson is my 7-year-old Labrador Retriever and my best friend. He came into my life at 8 weeks old and is part of everything I do. He’s incredibly loving, loyal, and active dog who adores hiking and swimming.
I raised tyson completely on my own- my promise to him has always been to provide a stable home where he is always safe, loved, and advocated for. I would do absolutely anything for him.
Tyson developed a cyst on his hind leg and over time, I began noticing increasing stiffness and a consistent limp, especially after his favorite activities. After veterinary evaluation, he was diagnosed with a synovial cyst, which is relatively uncommon and can be complex to properly assess/treat. Thus, he requires an extensive orthopedic work up and possible costly surgery to have it removed.
My dog is my heart outside my body. After losing my father and through my hardest days, he’s been my steady comfort and constant supporter. He lives for swimming and hiking, but developing the synovial cyst is causing him more and more discomfort.Without proper testing and possible surgery, it could worsen and damage his joints early. He deserves the same unconditional love he’s always given me.
work full time as a veterinary technician in a spay/neuter clinic and support myself. After multiple vet visits, I’ve been referred to an orthopedic specialist for my dog’s rare synovial cyst. The needed testing/care are financially out of reach.
