Uhtred was a gift to my 8 year old pup who was starting to loose her luster for life. We were considering getting a puppy for a while and one day we passed a “Free Puppies” sign with a number. We were going to pick up her only girl left. The lady met us in a park with a boy dog, a shy dog. She gave us a story about how he was a mistake. Her Poodle did not breed with her arranged “husband”.

At 6 months we started to notice limping. After several vet visits it kept getting wrote off as Growing Pains because of long legs. Then one day the meds stopped working and his vet decided to Xray. He is a year old at this point. The Xrays pointed to OCD and arthritis. A terrible diagnosis for a high energy puppy. We reached out to two offices and found one cheaper Magnolia Vet. Surgery Center.

Uhtred is a very special guy. He brought life back to our 8 year old pup Juno. They became best friends and do everything together. He is playful and clumsy but such a sweet pup. He enjoys spinning to music and ear scratches. He is just now learning sitting gets good attention. He is so proud when you tell him good job for manners. Even in pain he never has a bad day. We should all be like Oochie

I recently took a job as a Dog Groomer and the time I spent training drastically put us behind on finances. We were not expecting a major surgery and had used emergency funds to get by. I had high hopes of a better career and future. One day we plan to return the favor.
