Please help this elderly boy get the spleen surgery he desperately needs.

This sweet little guy named Max was rescued by Just Keep Rescuing Canines and Cats Rescue when they found out he was being given away for free on Craiglist simply because he could no longer be used for breeding. He deserves so much better than that, and this rescue promised him he would know love, safety, and compassionate care for the rest of his life.

But now they are heartbroken because he had his ultrasound with a veterinary sonographer, and the news was not what they were hoping for. The ultrasound revealed a mass on his spleen.

And now this small rescue is faced with another difficult battle.

They want to schedule his surgery as soon as possible, but they can't without your help.

They don’t know exactly what the future holds, but they do know that Max deserves every opportunity to fight and to be as comfortable as possible. He has already overcome so much in his life, and they’re not ready to give up on him.
