Uso is a lab Great Dane mix super sweet boy I adopted from our local animal shelter in Pittsfield IL, he is the protector of my four year old some Ezra and my two year old daughter Eliza. USO sleeps in bed with us every night enjoys going on hikes in the woods and spending his time outside playing. But also loves sleeping in our king size bed to himself while I work from home.

USO is my children’s protector and he also has calmed my anxiety in so many ways he sleeps with me every night right by my side. I have bipolar severe adhd and anxiety as an adult. USO is a very laid back dog super calm quiet he’s very good with children and everyone he meets, I seriously could neve have ever asked a dog with a better disposition.

USO makes me laugh and smile so much. Just the love he shows to everyone no matter who they are he doesn’t know a stranger but also has a great judge if character in people. He knows good from bad and right from wrong. I swear he’s human. USO is the best snuggler. He loves a bath. He may be a counter surfer from time to time but that’s ok.

A week an ago USO has been in a hit and run by a car. 😭 no one stopped and said anything
We are devastated. He has two front broken legs that my vet is urging him to have orthopedic surgery costing around $6,000 at another clinic.
He’s currently being treated at Mt.Sterling Vet Clinic in Mt.Sterling in Mt.Sterling IL the vet that needs to do the surgery is in Petersburg IL

I have a $1500 in care credit, but of course it has to be paid in full, unexpected expense to be able to cover the rest of it. My family is heartbroken. Our children are heartbroken. I’m heartbroken it would mean the world if we could get the surgery done for uso. He’smybaby
