I am a Breast Cancer Survivor and about 1 year out of treatment. I adopted Valentina on 2/14/2021 because I needed a companion as I live alone. She has been such a wonderful support and helps me not feel lonely. She was adopted from a Petco and I was assured she had a clean bill of health but they would not provide a first vet check. Valentina is independent, playful and sleeps with me every night. She loves to play with hair ties and strings. She is indoor only and loves to sit at the large glass door to watch the birds and people outside. She loves to watch cat videos on YouTube and will watch regular tv as well. She loves to run from room to room to show off her skills!

I have on-going caner treatment costs and a unexpected rent move with increased rent. I want Valentina to be healthy and live her best life with me. I dont want her condition get worse where they want to pull all her teeth.

I am hoping that the dental treatment needed will prevent any future problems for Valentina. At her first vet visit (3/17/21) after being adopted on 2/14/21, the vet noticed her red ans swollen gums and gingivitus. Valentina is special because she follows me everywhere like a dog. She loves to get a weekly bath and cuddled in a warm towel after. She loves to sit on the edge of the bathtub while anyone showers and if you are taking a bath, she will reach in the water to tough your toes. Valentina loves to carry her toys in her mouth around as well.
