Valerie is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Little Elm , TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Valerie's gotcha day was just over a year ago. We rescued her from a caring shelter/organization. She's only 2 years old and has had it rough. She rules the roost in our home. She's so loving and gentle.

About 3 months ago she started limping. We promptly took her to our vet and found out she has a torn ACL. We have kept her on medication since, as was recommended by our vet (Hooves & Paws).
Last week we noticed she was having a hard time moving at all. Our vet has confirmed that she has now torn the ACL in her other hind leg. We are now looking at $4700 per leg for surgery.

Valerie is so sweet. She cuddles with my husband and I all the time. She also loves to cuddle with my extended family. She is super friendly and a couch potato.

My husband and I both switched jobs 3 months ago. We are fighting to catch up with bills and we now have no medical insurance ourselves. We are desperate to get our sweet girl walking again.
