Vanessa is a 2 year old Redbone Coonhound in North Charleston, SC, who needs $1,350 for Episioplasty.

Vanessa (Vee) our beloved rescue was adopted in the fall of 2025. She is the best caring little sister of her big brother Loki our tuxedo cat. She loves to show off her goofy tongue, hoping she can sneak in a kiss when she has your attention.

Unfortunately Vee has been given the short end of the stick with many health issues arising already in just her short time here. She has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, conquered many heart worm treatment sessions, under went a complicated spay procedure, has extreme anxiety and ptsd disorders due to neglect prior and now has been battling monthly UTI’s and bladder infections.

She loves playing and cuddling with her big brother Loki, exercising at the dog park with her other four legged friends and most of all cuddling and falling asleep underneath the warm blankets in her parents bed at night knowing she is safe, loved, and the comfort of reinsurance that life & health will get better in time

With multiple high end vet bills, procedures already within her first year of being adopted has put undue stress on our financials. Vee is in need and scheduled for an invasive Episioplasty surgery on February 26th to prevent additional UTI infections as she is a high risk.
