Violet is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Burleson, TX, who needs $2,000 for Meniscal Repair - ACL Surgery.

Violet came into my life when I was working ad a veterinary technician at a last resort animal rescue. My sweet girl was covered in mange, injured and hungry. She is the most resilient animal, she is sweet and silly and playful regardless or her tough experiences. Violet lives with me and my parents.

Violet has torn her ACL. She can no longer put any pressure on her back left leg. We visited Joshua Animal Clinic today to get everything checked out and we are currently working on getting her eczema on her feet completely healed prior to our checkup in two weeks.

Violet has a huge personality. She is friendly and social towards dogs, cats and humans alike. While I have maintained my status as the favorite, violet and my mom have a very special bond. They lay on the couch together while my mom reads and violet chews her toys. Her favorite thing is a big buffalo horn. Everyday after patrolling for squirrels violet loves to lay on her bed and chew her horn.

I am a college student living with my parents to save up for my own place to live. I work part time and do school part time during fall/spring. With what I make, I cannot afford violets surgery on my own. I need help however I can get it.
