About this campaign
Violet is a 5 month old little sister to 5 little boys who truly adore her. She lives in a home in Utah with a human family of 7 and 1 fish. All her human momma wanted was a little baby girl, but shortly after giving birth to her 5th boy, her and her husband decided to adopt a sweet baby girl puppy instead.
Violet is a baby pup with the patience of an old soul. She happily wrestles and chases 5 little boys all day. When the 3 year old wants to pick her up and redirect her constantly, she goes, tail wagging. When the 1 year is trying to pet, but smacks instead, she doesn’t run away or nip. When little kid friends come to play, she happily allows all the slightly aggressive snuggles.
Violet has a special tender personality. From a tiny pup, still nursing on her momma until this very day, she will literally wrap her tiny paws around your arm and give you a hug. She has bright eyes, and loves animal friends, but never barks at them. She is all love with no bite and deserves good health.
Violet was playing outside with her owners on 5/3/23 when she ran quickly under her human, tripping them and breaking her leg. She was seen by a veterinarian shortly after the accident where they x-rayed and confirmed a tib/fib fracture. Violet had her break aligned and splinted, but needs surgery to heal from the break.
This is an unexpected, major expense. Violets owners paid $1500 to the ER for treatment right after the accident, but her surgery is estimated to cost another $6,000.
