My sister and I chose Violet along with her sister Ash as kittens 3-4 years ago when one of our aunt's cats gave birth. Her name was chosen by my sister because it's her favorite color.

She’s quite the talker, especially after dark, and I’d give anything just to hear her voice again. She’s also an unpaid professional fly catcher. What I love most about her is that I didn’t choose her, she chose me. And that makes my heart ache, knowing I could lose her.
