Viper is a 1-year-old cat in Chatham, VA, who needs $300 for continued treatment.

Viper was born to a feral mother, he was one 7 seven kitten we found in a broken shed. It took time but he mother finally allowed contact with her kittens. Viper was close to brother Logan the runt of the litter who died. We were able to get every adopted out exceptViper, his brother Lucy and his sister Hamilton. He was the Feistiest and toughest in his litter.

Viper plays with all the cats. He never meets an enemy and loves everyone especially kittens. His best friend is Perci girl and a pink feather. He loves being carried by dad and laying in moms purse. He loves to chase a laser pointer when he feels good. Everyone loves viper. When he got sick it broke everyone's heart, he looks at us with these sad sick eyes to fix him. It's heart breaking.

Viper was up for adoption but didn't but he would crawl in our laps for love and beg to be held. When held he would smell our mouths and noses. He would bite inside our nose lol it really hurt but when got sick and couldn't eat we knew Viper was ours. We help any animal in need so we feed 20 cat in a colony But when Viper got sick my kids helped with medical bills. I knew he had his forever home.

Viper got sick about 8 months ago and had three teeth pulled. It wasn't the problem he still drolled and smelled like rotten cheese around his head. His next visit to the vet she tried his ears and blood and puss came out. He would only eat baby food but now he barely eats, he's stopped playing. He needs a lot more care

I had to retire after I was hospitalized and had 2 emergency surgeries. My husband was a stay at home dad to our 3 children for 13 years and had to go back to work in this economy two parents need to be working. We love helping animals in need. We do it as family.
