About this campaign

Voo was adopted from a rescue shelter, and I traveled 500 miles for her in 2015. She is now 12 years old. Not only is Voo a much-loved loyal companion she also became a service dog . She loves to be with me everywhere and is easy going. She enjoys walks and playing fetch however things became challenging after her diagnosis of diabetes and development of eye cataracts and blindness.

Voo now depends on insulin and prescription food. Her cataracts give her trouble, and I hope to have them removed. This would restore Voo"s vision. Thanks to the kindness of others, she has had her preliminary appointment to assess her eyes. Now for the surgery! West Vet in Boise Idaho is the facility for her surgery. She has a regular Doctor at baker City animal Hospital in Baker city Oregon.

Voo is loved by all. Her gentle nature and easy-going spirit are endearing. She has many little friends with small dogs who visit us. Voo looks forward to each day, but i can tell she misses her sight.

I am older and on a very small, fixed income. Her care is very expensive, and I have no means to get her the eye surgery. I wrote a children's book series however it is yet to be discovered or gain income.
