Only time I’ve ever been happy to be told I failed, foster failed that is, 2 dogs at the same time. A momma dog with her puppy. They were brought into my life on 7/3/23 when the littler of puppies was just a few weeks old with their very scared mommy dog. They adjusted quick, I got to watch them grow and find homes, except for Vulcan and his mom Lulu, they stayed and became family on 8/17/23.

Vulcan currently is having issues with the tendons in his jaw which is causing his jaw to lock open every time he yawns, he currently wears a muzzle full time to prevent this. We have received a Cone Bean CT at UC Davis and have discovered he needs Coronoidectory (removal of the Coronoid Process) to correct this issue.

He’s got two greats loves, food then naps, I would say my other dog Lulu and myself are a close for 3rd place. His favorite way to kill time is to chase his tail. His favorite toys are any of the ones that sound like plastic bags, so I always feel like he’s getting into something which he never is. He is very awkward, he tries to play with other dogs sometimes but would rather watch from afar.

With a fixed income and unexpected costs that have occurred and continue with him. I’d love to be able to get this surgery done so we can get this sweet boy out of his muzzle and back to just scaring people cause he is big.
