Waffles came to us just after we moved into our house in 2015. He is a TNR kitty. Very skittish but over the last 7 years has become a family member. His friend and playmate - Chicken (seen in photo) also a TNR kitty came to us approx 3 months after Waffles. Yes - Chicken & Waffles. They both have very different personalities and we have come to love them very much.

In the last few years Waffles has decided he likes being inside and has become more of an inside kitty, but he has not given up his need to go outdoors. He is very loving and provides comfort to my family, especially my two disabled children. We have grown to love him very much, pampering him as much as possibie

My son taught Waffles to knock on his door when he wants to go out. Waffles being the extremely smart kitty he is, now knocks on the door instead of waking me up at 4:30am to go out. He went from being unable to touch or pet to sleeping in bed with me or my daughter. He loves being brushed and purrs and drools excessively

Waffles was treated over the weekend at Phoenix Veterinary Emergency Center. He had stopped eating and then drinking for several days. We were given devastating news that he has feline aids, which could have caused the dental problem. None the less, he can continue to have a long and happy life with some changes. He needs teeth removal which is causing him great distress and pain. Another $600
