Waffles has needed 5 surgeries, 3 being emergency or his bladder would burst. He was diagnosed w/diabetes in April 2026. He saw the vet on 06/08 for red eyes/partial cloudy and by 06/23 almost fully cloudy and he could barely see. Envision More Ophthalmology saw Waffs 07/15 and needs swollen cataracts removed before they burst and cause retinal detachment, loss of eye(s) etc.

No children, so my animals are everything. Waffles isn't your typical chihuahua. Calm, no attitude, and hardly barks. He's had more surgeries than any dog I know but still a happy and doesn't deserve this. He does have pet insurance, but all surgeries have been preexisting, and one time glucose high, so they aren't covering anything related to diabetes, and his cataracts are due to that.

Estimate is $5,361.25 - $6,376.65 and is due by surgery. Honestly, I just can't afford another surgical expense and I need help to get my baby better.
