About this campaign

I found a tiny black ball of fur inside a cardboard box outside the grocery store I worked at, that was the day I found my best friend. Wally has been with me through it all. He was my copilot across 1200mile road trip to move to CO from KY 7 years ago. And we haven’t stopped road tripping since, he’s the best camping adventure friend anyone could ever ask for.

Three months ago Wally had his first senior exam at the vet. Everything came back normal, and we changed up his food to more senior friendly. His blood cells were a little light, so the vet wanted to do somemore testing. Over the last two months he’s lost 10lbs and the second visit to the vet they found a large mass near his spleen that needs removed causing him a lot of pain.

Wally is the sweetest full body wiggle dog I have ever met. His love of hiking, fetch and destroying any stick he meets is his passion. His little brother Henry joined us last summer, and he’s not done teaching the young man how to be the goodest boi

This surgery is going to cost upwards of $10,000 dollars. Due to his anemia, and size of the mass. With housing costs, just buying our first home we have no savings put away to cover this unexpected expense.
