Walter is a 10-year-old Ratier/chiwawa in lafayette, IN, who needs $1,300 for Surgery .

I have had Walter for about 3 years now and I believe he is about 10 years old, I saved him from a bad home. He got his name because that was the last owners favorite football player. I have 2 cats other then Walter. Walter will not eat dog food only human food. Walter is a good dog he is full of energy and loves the outside. He is a mamas boy for sure.

Walter sleeps with me under the blanket right by my feet, He loves going on walks and chasing birds. He does not eat dog food I have tried but he went days without eating so he eats what mom eats. He loves to play ball and loves gong on car rides. Walter is good dog and love being the center of attention. Walter does not like the cats he will chase them but not hurt them.

I do have a job but I am on a tight budget now as it is, I am a single mon of 3 kids and do not have the funds to get my dog help. It would mean the world to me and my kids if Walter was ok or will be ok.

Since I have had Walter he has not seen a vet, I took him to the vet on 6/22/20 because he has a mass under his tail and it busted open and was bleeding real bad. I took him to a 24 hour animal hospital at Purdue but it was going to cost me 800 and I don't have that. I took him the next day to a appointment I had set up for him and they wouldn't touch it unless I had 1200.

Walter is a ball of joy, he makes my night when I come home from work and he is so happy to see me he just runs around barking and jumping all over. I love when I am petting him and I stop and he throws his head down on me so I will keep petting him or when someone gets to close here comes Walter to split us up because he wants all the loves.
