Wanda is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix in Kent , WA, who needs $300 for x-rays.

Wanda was originally just my boyfriends dog. When we started dating 4 and a half years ago, I fell in love with her. Me and her had an immediate connection. She will follow me all around the house, everywhere I go. She loves taking naps with me whenever possible. She may be a couch potato like me, but she also gets the zoomies and loves to play like she's a big dog.

Wanda lives with me and my boyfriend in our apartment. We have 2 guinea pigs, which she absolutely adores. She loves sitting next to their cage and sniffing them. Whenever they make a noise, she is running to them in an instant. When they are out of the cage she is licking them(cleaning them) and cuddling them. I feel like she thinks they are puppies and she wants to care for them.

Wanda means the world to me. I am not working at the moment due to my multiple chronic illnesses. My boyfriend is the only one working so money is very tight right now. I don't want to think about what if something bad happened to wanda and If I could have done something more

A few months ago, I found a movable object by one of Wanda's nipples. It is not round but long, maybe 1cm. She doesn't seem to be bothered when I touch it. Wanda is not spayed so I am thinking the worst, cancer. The last time she went to the vet we also found out she has a heart murmur. It's getting worse to the point where she is coughing daily, when she is laying or when she is walking on leash.

Wanda is special to me because I have multiple chronic illnesses. She is my emotional support when I am not feeling well. She will come and lay on my lap or next to me, just to let me know that she is here for me. It makes me so happy knowing that she knows I am not feeling well and she wants to care for me emotionally.
