About this campaign
Wesley, an owner surrender rescued from an inner city NJ shelter, is finally safe in a foster-to-adopt home. He is loved, thriving, and ready for a fresh start. The only thing standing between Wesley and his forever family is the surgery he needs. Your support will help him heal and make his adoption official.
Wesley has a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear with meniscal damage in his left knee. He is not fully weight-bearing, with muscle atrophy and degenerative joint disease causing pain and instability. Without surgery, his condition will worsen. An orthopedic surgeon recommends extracapsular repair at Ridgecrest Animal Hospital to restore mobility and comfort.
Wesley is a 68 lb brindle lovebug with the perfect mix of goofy energy and snuggly charm. Affectionate, playful, and social, he loves walks, meeting new people, and has done amazingly with other dogs. Whether hopping around the yard or cuddling with a chew toy, he’s all heart and ready for his forever home. Also a total stud as he struts around in his shades.
Pitties and Pals is a volunteer-run rescue that’s already saved over 75 dogs this year. But lifesaving care is expensive, and we can’t do it alone. Your gift helps provide urgent medical treatment so every dog can heal, thrive, and find the loving home they deserve.
