Whiskey is a 2 year old Chihuahua in Oxnard , CA, who needs $10,000 for Corneal Laceration Repair and Lens Removal.

Whiskey came into our lives later in the year of July 2023 but was born on May 23rd earlier that year. He was born into a litter of 7 (4 boys and 3 girls). We instantly feel in love with him.

Whiskey had been diagnosed with penetrating corneal trauma with concern for global rupture in his right eye. This injury occurred after having an Encounter with a opossum. He sustained a large scratch in the middle from top to bottom of the cornea which had also formed a large blood clot in the back of the eye. He was recommended to see an ophthalmologist at Veterinary Eye Clinic Calabasas.

He is very loving and happy dog, anyone who comes by he will greet you with a lot of tail wags and playfulness. He is very food motivated and loves drive thru unsalted patties.

It has been financial hardship due to my recent disability situation. It would mean the world to us if we are able to get him into surgery to prevent vision loss and him live a normal happy life.
