🐾💙 UPDATE ON WILBUR! 💙🐾
We have some wonderful news about our sweet Wilbur! He is doing really well and is all healed up! 🎉
Wilbur may need to remain on a strict special diet to help manage his urinary crystals, so his future family will need to be committed to keeping him on the diet recommended by his veterinarian. But otherwise, this handsome boy is doing great!
While staying with his foster, Wilbur has been learning something he may not have known much about before — what it feels like to be loved, safe, and cared for. ❤️
And now, he's ready for his next chapter!
🏡✨ Wilbur is officially adoptable and ready to find his forever family!
About this campaign
Meet Wilbur. ❤️
This tiny 3.5-pound blind Yorkie was found wandering the streets desperately in need of help. No little dog in his condition should ever have been out there trying to survive on his own.
Now safe with CAMO Rescue, Wilbur is receiving treatment for a painful urinary tract infection and was found covered in fleas, another heartbreaking sign of neglect and hardship.
Despite everything he’s endured, Wilbur is gentle and trusting.
Senior and special-needs dogs like Wilbur are among the most vulnerable. Being blind makes the world frightening enough, but trying to navigate it alone while sick and neglected is unimaginable.
CAMO is committed to giving Wilbur the medical care, comfort, and love he deserves, but we cannot do it without your help.
Please consider donating to support Wilbur’s veterinary care and recovery. Every dollar, share, and kind word helps this tiny boy leave his painful past behind and finally experience the safety every dog deserves. ❤️

🐾 Wilbur Update ❤️
Wilbur is doing okay and taking things one day at a time. This sweet boy is dealing with a few challenges right now, so our main focus is keeping him as comfortable as possible and making sure he gets the care he needs.
Wilbur’s vision is very limited, which can make navigating the world a little more difficult for him. He is also dealing with crystals in his urine, which can be quite painful and uncomfortable. We’re keeping a close eye on him as he works through these issues and making sure he gets plenty of rest, love, and support.
Some days are better than others, and with Wilbur, we’re simply taking each day as it comes. Despite everything he is dealing with, he continues to be a sweet boy and reminds us why these dogs are so worth fighting for.
For now, Wilbur needs time, patience, and continued care. We’re hopeful that we can get him feeling more comfortable and help him enjoy the good days ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared his story, and continues to keep Wilbur in their thoughts. Your support helps us provide him with the medical care and comfort he needs.
Keep fighting, sweet Wilbur. We’re right here with you. ❤️
