Wilford (Wilfie) is a 13 year old Maine Coon in Chocorua , NH, who needs $2,000 for Senior Cat, UIT, FLUTD, ect..

Mr. Wilford, aka Wilfie, has had an adventurous and sad life; due to his medical conditions, he has been passed around to many homes. He is in his forever retirement home with a nursing student and an elderly 90-year-old man. When I adopted him from the previous owner, she lied about his history and medical issues. But we have fallen in love with him despite his problems.

Wilfies biggest struggle has been his weight; he was 25lb when I first found him and barely able to walk. He's now down to 18lb and getting much better. He has been currently struggling with chronic UTIs and Flutd; he also has extreme anxiety due to his unstable living condition, which seems to coincide with his health issues.

Every morning, he wakes me by flopping on the bed beside my head and purring loudly for belly rubs. Wilfie has a full range, from keeping my feet warm while I study to watching Wheel of Fortune with Pepere (grandpa). Wilfie is the king of the castle here, or as my roommate calls him, "Mr. Independent."

As a full-time nursing student, I can only work part-time, which doesn’t provide much income. My cat, Wilfie, has been dealing with an unexpected urinary issue that has led to vet bills ranging from $400 to $500, which I cannot afford.
