About this campaign
I adopted Willie as a rescue from the state of Nevada, where I lived shortly. He was my sidekick from the start. Love at first sight. He was found walking the streets according to his story and needed love. From the first night where he slept right next to me all night til today where he still sleeps cuddled up right next to me. He looks to me for love and help and I feel helpless.
Willie was always full of fight, very territorial like most chihuahuas, but sweet once you said his name. He is the snuggliest little guy and always has one eye on what I’m doing. I call him Mr. Nosey, lol. He hates to be left alone and has a lot of anxiety but sits in my lap or his special stroller and he is good to go.
Willie is my reason to smile and hope every day. He deserves this chance at treatment and remission. He is just kindness in a chihuahuas body and that’ll he wants in return , kindness and love.
He developed swollen glands in this throat and became lethargic, my Vet at All Pets Clinic , Dr. Collins, in Ocala , fl, Diagnosed lymphoma. Referred me to U of Fl small animal Hospital for oncology care but I can not afford the treatment. Initial visit is $160 , then chemo can be thousands. I am on disability myself due to chemo side effects from breast cancer. He is rapidly deteriorating.
Willie is the sweetest creature I’ve ever met. All he wants is love, seriously. We came upon a crate on a walk one day and inside were tiny abandoned kittens. He started crying and jumped in the box and snuggled with them. He wouldn’t let them out of his sight. He let them crawl all over him and he laid there and licked them and cried.
