Willow is a rescue pup! I've had her for 4 years and she is the best, sweetest girl. She has separation anxiety and seizure disorder which requires medication 3x a day. Recently she was hospitalized twice in a week due to sudden onset anemia, with some side effects to medication (phenobarbital and steroids) We want to get Willow well and back to her normal happy self.

Willow is my shadow and loves to be near her mom. She is happy and loves walks in the neighborhood and car rides - preferably sitting in the lap of the driver with her head out the window. She loves my nieces and nephews and seeing her family - she will guard them when they sleep at my house like a mama bear.

Willow is quirky but she loves her people fiercely, as long as she knows and trusts you. Her best 4 legged friend is Layla a 65 lb pit bull. They are perfect little misfits and love taking walks and eating all the treats from her godmother. Willow also loves peanut butter in her Kong when I’m away.

Willow had a seizure disorder when I adopted her in 2018. We added a new anti-seizure medicine 7 months ago under the care of her vet and a neurologist, and recently were told Willow is now severely anemic. Her red blood count is 15% when it should be 35 or higher. Last week she was weak and required a blood transfusion to stabilize her while we determine cause.

The financial burden has been sudden, with her medical bills totaling $3,400 in the last 7 days. I’m single, one income household and was not prepared for these expenses or what the follow up, further evaluation will be. I love my girl and want us to get through this.
