About this campaign

My 16 year old brought Willow home a year ago saving him from going to the pound. The rest of his litter was taken to the pound the very next day. We have had him neutered and had a hernia repaired.

Willow is absolutely an important part of our family. He loves to sleep in our beds. His favorite toy is a cat tunnel he got for Christmas. He also enjoys playing with his other cat toys (balls, toy mice, ect.) We live in the country and He does an excellent job keeping our house mouse free.

Willow is such a sweet boy. He is very loving and playful. He loves to jump out of nowhere and scare us. You can almost see him laugh when he is successful. When we are sad or upset Willow is right there to give us love and help us feel better. He is the best cat we have ever had.

Willow was accidentally let outside and was gone 4 days. When he came home he had a severe limp unable to put weight on his back right leg. We took him to The Oaks Veterinary Clinic and found out he has a severe compound fracture that requires his leg to be amputated. The amputation will be done by Helping Hands and will cost $755.

I had to have back surgery 3 years ago and have been unable to work since. We are on a very fixed income and have little to nothing after the bills are paid. We love Willow so much! It would mean the world to us to get him the he needs.
