About this campaign
Exactly 2yrs ago my daughter and I were leaving the outdoor mall and saw a kitten dodge under a dumpster. We stopped and took a can of cat food to try to lure her out. Unsuccessful, I asked a man at the loading dock who said she had been dumped 3wks before. I went home and got my trap. I trap abandoned cats and find them homes. She had been abused and was so traumatized I kept her. She was 7mths old
Willow has been very healthy. She's spayed and I keep her vaccinations up. She's developed severe stomatitis and the vet says she needs all her teeth pulled. She was in a lot of pain and has been given antibiotics and a steroid, but the vet said it will return in 4-6wks. It is only curable by removing her teeth. The Animal Care Clinic of University Place, Wa. takes care of her
Since Willow was abused as a baby and then abandoned I am the only one she trusts. She loves to sleep under my covers with me, and her best friend is her big brother Leo. She never gets into anything, except boxes. She loves a box filled with shipping papers which she buries herself in. She's so quiet I sometimes can't find her. She's small because of the abuse as a baby. She deserves love.
I am disabled on SS. I have several medical issues that require extra cost, including Aortic stenosis and RA. I am on a home chemo treatment for the RA and will require heart surgery in 1-2yrs. I need my fur babies! They help with stress which is good for both RA and heart
