Willow is a 3-year-old Bulldog Mix in Loveland, OH, who needs $1,850 for ACL Surgery.

We adopted Willow in 2019 at 3 months old. She came from a wonderful rescue in Cincinnati called 'His Eye is On the Sparrow'. She lives with myself, my son and daughter, as well as 2 other rescue dogs that have been with us for a long time. She is a part of our family and it pains us to see her not be able to romp and play with her siblings.

In Willow's mind, she is a 5 pound lap dog. In reality, we call her the 'couch walrus' (as you can see by her pics, she loves to sprawl out!). She is very vocal and will tell us when she wants to play, and remind you that she's still right there next to you. She is the sweetest companion for my kids who absolutely adore Willow.

Willow is the queen of 'creeping' when she wants something that you are eating. We look away for two seconds, and she's crept about 6 inches closer. She will cuddle on the couch with you whether you like it or not. If there's no room, she will make room! She gives the best hugs ever, and makes us laugh everyday!

Willow tore her ACL about a month ago. We have been saving up for the particular surgery that she needs. Being a bigger dog, she's struggling to deal with the pain of walking on three legs and trying to rest her injured knee. We were referred to the team at MedVet in Cincinnati and are very optimistic that the surgery and rehab could give Willow the amazing quality of life that she deserves.

As a single parent household, it has been a struggle to financially deal with Willow's injury. My son has type 1 diabetes and my daughter just started college. Willow deserves to live pain free and I would be so grateful to give her that chance again!
