Willow Mae is a 7 year old Kooikerhondje in Caribou, ME, who needs $4,000 for Chemotherapy.

I have had Willow and her sister Ava since they were 8 weeks old. They haven't been apart a single day for the last 7 years. They have both been the best dogs. I can see that Ava is having a hard time with Willow being sick also. She is giving her extra attention and loving on her. They are both the most loving and gentle girls.

I first noticed a lump on one side of Willow's neck the first week of December. It took me a month to get her into the vet. By that time she had multiple lumps and they were growing quick. The vet sent out a sample and put her on prednisone. It came back that Willow Mae has lymphoma and I was devastated by the diagnosis. The prednisone shrunk the lymph nodes.

Willow's favorite thing to do durimg the day is to lay in the window and let the sun shine on her while she watches the cars and people pass by. I love when people come into my work and let me know they seen Willow in the window today. We took Willow to the Veterinary Oncologist and they gave us hope that she can fight this awful disease.

This diagnosis came very unexpected and it's very hard for me to admit that I need help to save her. We will need to travel over 4 hours every 3 weeks for 5 mths for her chemo. Her Dr said she has a very good chance to go into remission. She deserves a chance to beat this.
