About this campaign

Willow adopted me Oct. 2023 when she was a 4 month old puppy. She ran into the room with her oversized floppy ears & paws, jumped on my lap & hugged me, healing parts of me I didn't know were shattered.
A lady bought her from an unhoused person 4 days prior. She weighed only 10 lbs at the time & was near death.
She is now a 90- lb ball of love, playing in water, chasing balls & big sticks.

Willow is currently at UC Davis Veterinary Hospital on oxygen. She had respiratory issues since being adopted. Her symptoms had been treated with antibiotics & steroids, which she was recently taken off because of an upcoming medical procedure. Being off the medicine for a few weeks, a larger issue with her lungs has been uncovered that requires scoping & oxygen to diagnose and treat the issue.

Willow keeps me moving & makes the day worth geting out of bed. She's just wants to play & be her puppy self. People laugh & smile at the lake when she splashes around with her huge puppy grin. When I water the plants, she gets more on her than I get in the soil. She'll claim any ball laying around, including my dryer balls. She confuses the cat for a puppy & tries to play puppy games with her.

This is a sudden major expense. I'm trying all resources to raise money to help Willow before facing possible humane euthanasia, which the vet said is my 3rd option in Willow's case. Willow healed me from other losses. I'm pleading for help to give her a fighting chance.
