Winnie is a 6 year old Bouvier des Flandres in Hicksville , NY, who needs $2,000 for Enucleation Surgery.

We got Winnie after our Wheaton Sadie passed away from cancer. Our son who is Autistic was heart broken, as we were too. The following Saturday, I saw an add on Craigslist for Bouvier pups. The owner was moving to South Carolina, and had 4 pups. My wife and son went and Winnie came straight to my wife and son. She knew that she was the one. We had $500 to give and she said, she's yours.

Last weekend, Winnie was having stomach issues, and threw up. So Saturday we kept an eye on her. That afternoon her left eye became glossy. We immediately took her to an emergency vet. They did several tests, and said she has gloucoma in her eye. By Monday she was completely blind in that eye. Her other eye started sagging. Surgery to remove the eye is her only comfort. And hopefully it' stays put

Winnie announces every time we come home. She howls like Royalty when we enter the house. She loves to watch TV, especially Young Sheldon. She has brought nothing but joy to our home. We have truly become closer because of her.

We know Winnie's eye is past saving. But the removal and medicine alone will help her live pain free. From her first emergency visit and medication, we charged $1200. Now the surgery is $4200. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
