Winnie was in heartbreaking condition. Can you please help her?

About this campaign

Winnie, or Winnie the Pooh, arrived as a stray from Zephyrhills in early April, carrying far more pain than any dog should. This sweet 6-year-old mixed-breed girl came to us in heartbreaking condition. Her eyes were severely swollen, draining constantly, and causing her obvious pain. Even now, despite ongoing medications and treatment, Winnie continues to struggle with chronic eye issues that require constant care and monitoring.

She’s also battling an upper respiratory infection, a persistent cough, painful skin infections around her eyes, hair loss, and swelling that leaves her deeply uncomfortable. To make matters more concerning, a nodule has also been found on her hind leg that may require further evaluation.

And through it all, Winnie remains gentle.

At 54 pounds, Winnie should be enjoying comfort, safety, and love—not fighting through daily pain and medical uncertainty. Her care has become increasingly complex, requiring medications, frequent reassessments, and a long-term treatment plan focused on giving her the quality of life she deserves.

We are asking for compassionate support to help continue Winnie’s medical care. Her veterinary expenses are mounting quickly, and she depends on timely treatment and resources to heal and finally feel safe again.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps Winnie move one step closer to comfort, stability, and the second chance she deserves.
