Winnie is a 1-year-old Yorkie/Poodle in Louisville, KY, who needs $1,800 for Liver Shunt surgery.

We got Winnie at birth and nursed her to where she is now. She has been by my side all day every day. She is a member of our family and we think of her as another child.

She follows me or is in my arms or my lap every day all day. She taught herself how to say "Momma" after hearing my daughter call me that. She will yell Momma every time I leave her sight. She is the sweetest most amazing little angel dog ever.

She is so special to us because of how close we are with her. We spend all day every day together. She has brightened our life tremendously and helps me get through every day with my disabilities.

We moved this past Monday, and a day later Winnie had symptoms of some kind of illness. We took her to the hospital, where she still is, and they found out she was born with a liver shunt. She requires a pricey surgery in order to fix her liver.

COVID-19 hit our family hard. My fiance lost his job and hasnt been able to work since due to helping me care for our daughter and our disabilities. I am in the process of trying to get disability, and also trying to find any job possible to help us, & we just moved days ago
