About this campaign

Winnie came into my life not long after I lost my 17-year-old Boston terrier. What was supposed to be a temporary fostering situation, quickly changed 2 days into meeting her. I fell in love and knew she had to be mine forever. She quickly became my dream velcro dog and we have been attached at the hip ever since. I have only had her for about a year, and in that year she has shown so much love

Winnie had a growth removed from her leg that we thought was just a skin tag. We were shocked when the pathology came back as an aggressive melanoma. We immediately started her on the melanoma vaccine and she has to be on it for life. Her tumor had a high mitotic index and we are hoping the vaccine gives her more years. She is currently being treated at Marqueen pet hospital.

Winnie is truly one of the sweetest, most loving dogs I have ever known. She always wants to be with her people and has the cutest smile every time she sees me. She can’t hide or her excitement and often expresses it through little tippy tap dances and smiles. She is unlike any dog I’ve ever met. And it breaks my heart that she spent most of her life on the streets. She truly deserves the world.

Winnie’s expenses are already at 3.1k just from the last month. Her cancer treatments are 1k each. She will need three more doses within the next six weeks (an additional 3k) and then it will be one dose every six months at 1k each. She deserves a long life.
