Winnie is a 3 month old Golden Retriever in Tampa, FL, who needs $2,000 for Parvo.

Winnie is a 12-week-old Golden Retriever. We adopted her at the beginning of May, as she has the same mom as her 2-year-old brother, Wesley! We reside in Tampa, but Winnie is currently living in the hospital.

On May 17, Winnie rapidly fell ill. We brought her to the ER, where we learned she has parvo. We are in shock and devastated, as Winnie had never left the comfort of our home and backyard. She is up-to-date on her vaccines and was actually due for her 3rd parvo vaccine only three days after she contracted the virus.

Unfortunately, she is not in a condition where we can safely take over care yet.

Winnie is so sweet! She is extremely cuddly and loving. She is very obedient and easily trainable, she learned sit on her very first day home with us. She especially loves her brother Wesley and always finds ways to cuddle or play with him.

Winnie was admitted to the ER on a Friday. Between Friday and Monday, her medical care cost us $12K. We found a nearby hospital to transfer her to with slightly lower expenses, but she needs several more days to recover fully. We are looking at an additional 4-7k.
