About this campaign
We adopted Winnie a year and a half ago when she was a tiny little kitten. She is the sweetest, sassy little princess you ever met. She is so loveable but definitely has an independent personality.
We tragically lost our home in a house fire yesterday. Winnie was the last of our animals to be pulled out of the house. She was rushed to Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital but was transferred to an emergency vet Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral because of her critical condition. She has severe smoke inhalation, eye damage and respiratory issues.
Our sweet girl plays fetch with her toys, she is a serious talker and tends to talk back at the most appropriate times. She loves to lay on our chest but doesn't like a blanket on her because she is very independent and a little prissy.
We have a $1,200 vet bill at Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital and an estimate of $3,000 for ongoing treatment at Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral. Unfortunately we do not have pet insurance. We are struggling to figure out how we will pay this bill.
