About this campaign

My son had wanted a Rottweiler since he was a small child. He even drew a picture of a Rottweiler puppy and told me this was the dog he wanted. My son is 24 now and I bought the puppy for his birthday last year. We immediately fell in love with her. She is a great well tempered dog. Playful and very talkative.

She is one of the family! She fits right in with our other pets. She loves to play with toys and loves to go for walks in the lower field by our house. Unfortunately she is not able to do these things right now. She is very vocal and talks when ever she is excited or wants your attention. She can be mischievous but that is what adds to her personality. We all love her very much.

This just came at a time when I have no savings. I work but barely make enough to survive and I just cannot afford to get her surgery without help. The surgery is going to be $4047. To have her happy and lively again would be amazing! I want to see her play and romp around.

Winona started to limp and at first I just thought she played too hard or pulled a muscle. Her limp got worse so we took her to the vet at Animal Fairgrounds Hospital. Not news we wanted to hear. She has hip dysplasia and will need surgery to correct it. She is in a lot of pain so she is on pain meds until she can get the surgery. We have to keep her as inactive as we can.

Winona is a talker like I said. She can be very vocal when she wants to be. This always makes me smile. She likes to lay at your feet while working or watching tv. She can never make it through the night sleeping on her bed! She always ends up on my bed by morning; this always makes me smile. When she wags her small stub of a tail her whole body wags which also makes me smile. She is a happy dog!
