Hi everyone! I prayed for Winston Churchill after a breakup, and he came into my life being the exact advisor and emotional support system I needed. I specifically remember telling a friend, I knew my cat was out there waiting for me. However, I needed the right time. Well I went away to Texas for a church trip and came back to my area on a mission to find my cat baby. There he was at the ASPCA!

Unfortunately Winston was injured coming in from outside. His tail was degloved- meaning the skin and tail detached from the nerve. It was mortifying. Once I saw the injury, I immediately cleaned at home and scheduled an appointment for the VCA vet the next day. I cried all night and couldn’t wait to get him in for a checkup.

Winston Churchill is special because he came into my life when we both needed one another most. Again, I’d just ended a long term relationship and he was abandoned in an apartment with his last owner. Winston’s birthday is one day after mine according to the adoption center, and it really shows! Winston is sweet, studious, personable but also likes his independence and alone time.

I am currently on disability due to a blood cancer diagnosis since 2022. Having blood cancer was not something I would’ve imagined contracting but Winston knew I wasn’t well. For some reason, he kept jumping on my shoulder that had both tumors found by Rothman Institute.
