Winston is a 7 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Granite Bay, CA, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).

Winston is 7 years of age and he lives with me (known as his mom) and my husband and our adult daughter. When we got Winston, I have to be honest I didn't want another dog, but my daughter found out about a litter that was not wanted and she reached out to the owners. The only criteria is that he was a male and the owner picked for her. When he came home, I was instantly attached.

Winston was protecting me from our neighbors dog that was in our yard growling and barking at me. It was 10pm, last potty of the night when we walked out the door there was the neighbors dog about 15 feet from me and it was barking and growling and Winston chased it away and returned injured - torn CCL . It should be noted this is not the first medical treatment needed due to neighbors dogs.

Winston is a part of our family and my kids always tell me he is my favorite child. We had to put down our other dog this year and we are all grieving this loss. Winstons injury has limited our walks, him sleeping on the bed, and worry that he would be severly more injured if this were to occur again. He is a great driving companion, travel partner and he goes to my office most work days.

ER visit and a consult with the surgeon I was able to put on a credit card. Estimate for surgery is $6800-7200 that is a hardship. Any help comes with so much graditude.
