About this campaign
My fiancé and I adopted Winston when his previous owners had to re home him. He has lived with us and been a part of our family since February. He is one of four dogs in our house. We have another 6 month old puppy and two foster dogs. Winston’s favorite place in the whole house is right on top of our pillows when we lay in bed.
Winston is such a sweet boy. He gets along so well with every other dog that he’s met. He’s so playful and very energetic. He loves to play with out other puppy, bear. They’re the same age so they get along really well too. He does amazing with kids and is a huge cuddle bug. He’s a very fast learner as well.
Winston in general is just a very goofy dog. He loves to give hugs, he nudges you with his head to show he wants affection, and he shows his belly for belly rubs too. He can be very vocal at time as well. He likes to play with the water in his bowls, and he has a very goofy smile, it’s pretty obvious to see he’s smiling when you look at him.
Winston broke his leg while he was playing with one of our other dogs. With the location of the break, our only real option for him is amputation. The amputation is going to cost around $3000. Our goal is to raise enough for the 50% deposit so we can get him the procedure. We just want our happy boy to be out of pain.
With me being pregnant and both my fiancé and I needing surgery, neither of us are medically cleared to work full time. We do both have part time jobs but that’s nowhere near enough to cover our bill and Winston procedure but we are setting aside everything we can.
