Winston is a 5-year-old ChiWeenie in Parker, CO, who needs $2,000 for Hemilaminectomy.

Winston came into my life as a little foster pup, of course, I foster failed. That was the best thing to ever happen to me though! Originally he was known as peanut, but it didn’t fit his personality at all. So, as the new girl fanatic that I am I named him Winston Miller. A play on 3 of the main characters names in that show. He lives at home with me and his sister pup Willow.

Winston has always been the life of the party and the one to bring the mood up the second he walks into a room. He is spunky, energetic and could play fetch for HOURS. Everybody who meets him absolutely adores him, he’s here to offer many cuddles, lots of laughs and an endless amount of energy. He is always the center of attention when around family or friends!

He is a very sassy boy who likes to talk back and sing with you in the car! Or should I saw howl with you.. the first time he ever “sang” was in the car one day while I was belting out the words to “Man I Feel Like A Woman.” That song will get anyone singing and moving, even Winston!

Unfortunately, Winston was diagnosed with IVDD in September over Labor Day weekend. His momma started to notice some changes in behavior such as lower energy, no motivation to play fetch, not talking back, slowly getting up the stairs, no pep in his step and sleeping a majority of the day. He is currently being treated at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital by Dr. Raczek.

In august I totaled my car which ended up depleting my savings account and increasing my monthly car payments and insurance payments. Giving me little to no wiggle room with expenses. Winston deserves to live life pain free and this surgery would provide that for him!
