Witty Witty is a 15-year-old Domestic Cat in San Jose, CA, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

I’ve had many cats and fed several outdoor colonies. Though I haven’t a cat myself in many years, I’ve continued feeding outdoor cats.

Months ago, while feeding an outdoor colony, I met Witty Witty. She was emaciated, with parasite and patchy fur. We’d sit for hours together on the concrete. Until she wouldn’t let me leave and followed me to, and jumped into my vehicle. She chose me.

She is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met, even though she spent 15 years on the street. She’s still a lot of life and love left in her tiny little body.

Her goal is to spend 24 hours a day purring in someone’s lap. She will lay on you lap, hand, leg or head. She wants to be close at all times.

Before rescue, I saw an entire colony of larger, bickering cats show respect for her. Magical!

Despite having grown up and lived outdoors, she is the sweetest cat I’ve ever had the fortune to meet.

She’s no problem with car travel and I still take her back to see her old colony. Many of them come over for head bumps and body rubs with tails up and curled.

She’ll say hello and then manage to beat me back to my vehicle as a clear sign of it’s time to go home and lay down together.

A reason I haven’t had a cat in many years (RIP Snickers and Mocha) is cost. But she needed help and a comfy sunset to her journey.

First vet was a ‘no go’ but I’ve since found an awesome vet who’s done some work at no cost. Including blood panel and vaccines.

But unfortunately, she needs a follow up and more. I can tell she’s in pain.

I couldn’t turn my back on Witty Witty and had to take her in. Even though I’m unemployed and currently in the process of filing for Social Security Disability related to my own hardships.

I’ve already sold my cherished (and only) piece of valuable anything on Craigslist.
