Woody is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in New York, NY, who needs $4,200 for X-rays and Tooth Removal.

My partner and I lived in Florida, but knew we would be moving to New York soon. We were looking at the shelters, knowing that we would want a dog after we moved. Woody was at the ACC, but we thought someone would adopt him. We moved and a few months later we saw that Woody was still at the shelter. He had been there for almost a year. We met him and instantly fell in love. He went home that day.

We go to heart of Harlem here in New York. Woody is young, but started not wanting to go on walks or play. We took him to the vet and they think he may have been born with hip dysplasia. He needs x-rays at minimum. I had purchased insurance, but this is not covered, I also have to pay out-of-pocket for a tooth removal. There’s no way I can cover all of this, so I’m asking for help.

Woody is an absolute sweetheart. He adjusted very quickly to our home, and has been the best addition. He is Mr. popular, and he has a multitude of friends throughout the neighborhood. Everyone knows him, and he is the life of the party. It breaks my heart to see such a young happy boy having trouble with pain. Would he deserves to feel good again.

I am still out of work due to my broken foot. I have been able to cover most of Woody‘s vet visits, but now I’m outside of the range of what I can cover on my own. It is so important to me that I can help Woody feel better.
